A Desert Made of Pinnacles

22. November 2019

This phenomenon of nature is part of the Nambung Nationalpark and doesn’t feel like a desert at all. Deserts are meant to be empty but here there are countless limestone pillars standing right next to each other. And the best part is, that you don’t even have to walk. You can simply drive through them with your car and reach even the most remote spots.

When we drove into the Pinnacles Desert there were also quite a lot of Asian tourists there. But luckily, they must all have been coming with tour buses, as they were walking. This was good as on the more remote parts none of them was around taking selfies and we could take some stunning photos without any other person in it.
