A city that never sleeps

23. July 2018

Meanwhile Tobi had joined us from the Ultimate World Cup in Cincinnati and we took off all together to see the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, Flat Iron, NY Public Library and Central Station. All those buildings had been shown so often in movies, that our NY newbies felt like seeing them again – but that is just one of the things that make NYC so special.

When arriving at Central Park we grabbed again some city bikes and explored this world famous park including that lake with the rowing boats and the bridge from the movie Kevin Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.

Our trip to NYC wouldn’t have been complete without a cupcake from the cupcake ATM at the upper eastside and a ride with the tramway to Roosevelt Island which offered combined a sweet and outstanding view over Manhattan.

In the evening we explored the Chelsea Market and had our last NY dinner at The Park before we walked all the way back to our apartment along the Hudson River and enjoyed the glittering lights of the skyline of this other impressive city right next to NYC – New Jersey.
